Gmail and fake Linkedin accounts

If you have been using the internet extensively for over a decade, you have accounts with many ISPs and free email service providers. However, these free email accounts can be misused. For example a fake linked profile was created in August 2006, using the gmail account I had opened without my knowledge or permission.

Linkedin allows closure of duplicate accounts, but despite requesting the account to be closed in April 2011, the account still remains open. Why is Linkedin not closing the fake account?

My emails have been intercepted for a long time and in the last few days , it has become worse. They are very blatant, I hope to find the person / company behind this nonsense soon.
